We are thrilled to celebrate the remarkable achievements of four exceptional AMSA members who received prestigious awards at the recent convocation ceremony.

Nyi Nyi Nay Naing, from the School of Computing and Informatics, was honored with the Chancellor’s Award for his outstanding performance in the Bachelor of Computer Science (Hons) program.

Akary Hlaing, also from the School of Computing and Informatics, received the Vice Chancellor’s Award for excellence in the same program.

From the School of Business and Social Sciences, Tin Cherry Thinn earned the Vice Chancellor’s Award for her achievements in the Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) program.

On January 2, 2023, congratulations are extended to the Myanmar Representative Team for achieving 3rd place in the AIU MasterChef Competition.

The team proudly showcased the rich culinary heritage of Myanmar by presenting Durus Kuura, a traditional chicken roast dish from Rakhine State. This special festive cuisine is widely prepared by the Arakanese-Rohingya Muslim community during Eid al-Fitr and other cultural celebrations.

Their participation not only highlighted culinary skills but also celebrated Myanmar’s diverse cultural identity and heritage on an international platform.
