AIU Myanmar Student Association (AMSA) was founded in 2020 by a group of 12 pioneering students who envisioned a supportive community for Myanmar scholars at Alor Setar. What began as a small initiative to help newcomers adjust to university life has blossomed into AIU's most vibrant cultural organization.

Through annual events like Thingyan celebrations and our peer mentorship program, AMSA has become a home away from home for Myanmar students. We've grown from helping a dozen students navigate campus to organizing university-wide cultural events attended by hundreds.
