We are proud to congratulate Wai Yan Aung, a graduate of Albukhary International University (AIU), for being awarded the Malaysia International Scholarship (MIS) for postgraduate studies by the Ministry of Education, Malaysia.

After successfully completing his undergraduate studies at AIU, this achievement marks a significant next step in his academic journey as he continues his pursuit of excellence at the postgraduate level.

His success reflects not only his dedication and academic excellence during his time at AIU but also his commitment to furthering his knowledge and contributing meaningfully to his field.

AMSA is incredibly proud to celebrate this milestone and wishes him continued success in his postgraduate studies in Malaysia and beyond.

A moment of pride for the Myanmar student community at Albukhary International University, as Nyan Phone Zaw, also known as Faiz, has been elected President of the Student Representative Council (SRC).

As the first Myanmar student to take on this role, Faiz’s achievement is a reflection of his dedication, leadership, and the growing presence of Myanmar voices in the university’s student leadership. His prior experience as Vice President of AMSA in the 2023/2024 term showcased his ability to lead with purpose and inspire others. That same commitment will no doubt continue as he now represents the wider student body through the SRC for 2024-2025 term.
